Rahi374: Okay, I know I'm in the middle of another story about Sudrii, but I found this story..... in my dreams!!! Really, I got this story from a dream that I had last night. Well, it's based off of the dream, of course, but not exactly what happened in the dream. I don't even remember what exactly happened. I'll start with the story now.
One more thing before I start, but this is a spinoff. This story takes place on Earth, Year 15 A.G.E., basically 2010 according to the Gregorian calendar (that's what it's called right?).
Sudrii: Okay, so I just got on a cruise, like, 15 minutes ago and I had lunch. We're still at the port and I just headed up to the roof, well, I don't really know what to call it, but, something like that where there are still fences. I walked over to the edge of the roof and just looked over the fence. I close my eyes and just try to intake all of the sounds...... the birds chirping, other ships leaving and honking their horns, and an electronic-sounding noise going "beep", "beep", "beep"... I opened my eyes and spun around while wondering what the noise was. It was.... a mine? No, a bomb!
I materialized the multipurpose headset and ran a quick scan over the bomb. It was manufactured by the Baknans. But... it didn't look like a Bankan bomb, I've seen loads of those before. What I was even more surprised about was that there were no Xyglov fingerprints on it, only 5 Zavak fingerprints. Usually Xyglovs use Baknan weapons, not Zavaks. That probably explained why the bomb didn't resemble a Baknan bomb. I'm guessing the Zavaks probably used a Baknan bomb so that they could frame the Baknans. Well, I then searched for a way to deactivate it, but there was no switch, and there was no countdown timer, and the shell was too hard to pierce to force-download the universal kill-code. At this point I came up with two plans.
Plan A: Wait for the Zavak who planted the bomb to come back and give him/her what he/she wants in exchange for deactivating the bomb
Plan B: Wait for the bomb to explode
According to what I know, I don't know how long to wait. So, that rules out both of those plans. Just then;
KABOOM!!!!!
The bomb was planted in the exact middle of the....umm.....roof? It blew up pretty much everything around it, as well as me. I was flung over the fence, but I didn't feel like turning on my battle armor or jetpack, plus I still had time since I was falling from, like, the 11 floor, AKA The Roof. I looked up and was surprised (again!) to see the the explosion pattern of the bomb was the same as one of my explosion attacks. I call it Nova. That specific explosion pattern is when the bomb quickly generates a firey dome around it, covered in a design resembling a spiral throughout the dome. Then, that "field of fire" grows and grow until it reaches its exhaustion point and explodes. Well, since I didn't turn on my jetpack, I just had to brace for the fall. I looked for a good landing spot that I could land without too much shock. I found a basket of seaweed to land in. I guessed that falling from the 11th floor and landing on seaweed was too much, so I turned on the jetboots (I rarely use them since they don't look good) and landed somewhat safely. I still had a shock though.
I wondered what I should do then, since the dock for the cruise is on the other side, I was on the other side with fishing boats. Just then, I got a transmission from HeadQuarters saying that the Zavaks had just released a mutated shark from Antarctica and it was heading this way, at, I don't know how fast. Minaias said that it would take about 30 seconds for the shark to get here. That mutated shark would be very dangerous. Good thing all creatures mutated by Ladoks are infertile!
Sure enough, 30 seconds later, the shark did come. Obviously if it was coming at that speed it would crash into the dock..... at a great force. The small dock started sinking, and I ran towards land as I activated my battle armor. After the whole dock had sunken and I got to a stronger part of the dock, I turned around and scanned the shark. It was dead. I sent out a portal to send that mutated creature to HeadQuarters to get researched, but then, I saw a weird creature resembling a Black-Stick flying at me. I was confused, since, first of all, Black-Sticks can't fly. Second of all, they aren't as big as the one flying at me. My scanners told me that that one was mutated as well.
I prepared my dual-energy blade, aimed it at the creature, and fired. The shot went right through it, melting a hole in its armor and coming out the other side. To my surprise, it recovered and fixed up the hole to continue its dive on me.
